About Jason Smith

Jason “Smitty” Smith is an enthusiastic leader with experience in military, corporate and ministry settings.

Smitty relates to people through his use of humor, story-telling and honest vulnerability around the everyday struggles, challenges, and joys in leadership. His life’s mission is loving people enough to share the good news of Jesus and his life as well (1 Thess. 2:8). Smitty and his wife Beth have been married for 25 years and they have three adult children. He has formal education in law enforcement, biblical studies, theology and psychology. Smitty also has over two decades of experience in pastoring and church-planting across urban, suburban and military communities. He specializes in helping leaders take next steps in communication, emotional health and team building. He has extensive experience assessing, training and coaching church planters, pastors and staff members. He also enjoys helping leaders develop and/or refine vision, mission and values for their personal lives and organizations.

Smitty has 23 years of pastoral experience and has worked with hundreds of couples during their engagement to prepare them for marriage. He also has provided care and support for countless couples who find themselves struggling in their marriages.
He holds certifications in Prepare-Enrich and SYMBIS and specializes in coaching through communication and conflict resolution challenges.
