Pamela Coker is a nationally board-certified music therapist (No.05867). She received her bachelor degree in music therapy at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS in 1998. For almost 20 years, Pamela has strived to
provide evidenced-based practices to assist clients in reaching their desired goals in a holistic manner.
While art therapy is its own field, our
clients can use this creative expression to learn skills to reduce stress and get in touch with their feelings. Creating art can alleviate stress by taking your mind off of
things that cause stress, at least for a few minutes. Jamie, who has a bachelor’s of fine arts from Mississippi University for Women, has taught art lessons at Heartworks and is available for private art lessons.
